This is a USB booster cable that takes 5VDC and boosts it to 12VDC. Very handy right? The maximum output current is 0.8A although we don’t recommend actually going to 0.8A as the converter will heat up. Theoretically, you can power a router with this cable if the voltage and current requirement match. We also have a 5V to 9V cable for your project.
